About Rick Sheppard….
Welcome to our website. Hi I’m Rick’s wife, Ginny, I handle the marketing for Rick and his clients. Most “About” pages provide background information, experience, education and reviews, but I thought you’d also liked to hear a story about how much Rick really cares about his clients. In 2007 Rick and I met a couple, John & Helen who were in their 80’s, get out of a very overwhelming financial dilemma with their home and credit cards. We became good friends with John and Helen over the years. After a couple of years John went into a nursing home leaving Helen to live on her own. Every Thursday afternoon Rick would pick up Helen from her apartment, visit John, grab a cup of coffee and a piece of pie at her favorite restaurant. From there Rick dropped her off at Bingo at St. Mary’s School in Lansdale. She looked forward to seeing Rick every Thursday and often referred to him as her 3rd son. This went on for a few years until Helen’s health deteriorated. Rick speaks of John and Helen often and misses those times. Rick continues this tradition with his own Mother playing Bingo a couple of times a month at the Gilbertsville Fire House. It has now become a family event where his Aunts and cousins now join in on the fun. If you’re ever in Gilbertsville on the 1st Thursday of the month you’ll find Rick playing Bingo with Mom.

Rick Sheppard is a seasoned veteran and Associate Broker in the Philadelphia and suburban real estate markets and is based in the area he grew up in – the Perkiomen Valley region of Montgomery County, PA. As a licensed realtor since 1988, Rick Sheppard has worked with literally hundreds of sellers, buyers, landlords, tenants, real estate agents, and various other industry professionals. His belief is that the most important task for real estate agents today is to get the client – buyer and/or seller – successfully to and past the settlement table. An essential part of his job begins after a sales contract has been signed by a buyer and a seller. The home inspection, mortgage, title, and municipal processes are complex and can easily cause a sale to fall apart. No one wants to find out 6 weeks into a transaction that there will be no settlement. Rick’s motto: “The best way to solve a problem is to prevent one in the first place”. Accordingly, he manages his transactions closely, making sure every “I” is dotted and every “T” is crossed.
